This rod is good for deep drop, cod, tuna, halibut or grouper. When you target big fish like tuna, grouper, or halibut, you think of heavy duty rods. However, this light and thin rod can handle big fish like heavy duty rods, but in half weight. The blank weighs 5.6oz, but 200lb tuna was landed.
